How you spend the morning sets the tone for your day. We believe that starting the day with a dash of inspiration can truly make a difference! When we asked our Bella Grace community about ways they make mornings more magical, we received countless inspiring responses. Below are some of our favorites that we’re sharing in hopes that they will help make your days even more beautiful.

Magical Mornings Are…

1. “A cup of coffee in hand, a quiet early morning walk in the garden, and my dogs at my feet.” – @lolafalola

2. “Earl grey tea and my golden retriever.” – @trendybrendy1222

3. “Pouring a cold glass of water in a clear gleaming cup and watch as the sun’s rays create a dancing symphony of light. Drink and be thankful.” – @acalmamberdawn

4. “I love to make coffee and read a good book or write a letter to someone.” – @nikkiap8088

5. “My girls and I put together a Morning Mix playlist with some of our favorite songs, starting mellow and becoming more upbeat but all of them happy and ready to meet the day ✨ We listen to it every weekday morning as we get ready for school!” – @ellainthenorth

6. “A cup of coffee, an open window to hear the birds make music, a lavender-scented candle and a book or magazine to enjoy.” – @cherylstamper

7. “Picking the perfect mug for my day gets me started every morning. I, unintentionally, began collecting quirky, fun, beautiful coffee cups about ten years ago. Whether it’s enjoying that first cup in front of the fire or outside by my flowers, my cup tells my mood or my hopes for the day. Sometimes it’s reflective, other days it’s a giggle fest. Among my over 100 cups, many are gifts and that makes the day even more magical because…love.”  – @queensherry1

8. “I begin my day with light stretching on my mat and a daily reading of stoic meditations. In the spring and summer, I follow up by eating breakfast out by my garden.” – @lisacloughking

9. “I wake up before the sunrise and take a relaxing bath with my favorite candle. It has been a total game changer for me.” – @_flower_hill

10. “Bare feet to the earth every single morning no matter the temperature or weather.” – @with_lions_at_her_side

11. “I love to open the curtains, put the tea kettle on, and sip tea as the morning quietly unfolds.” – @tealadytammy

12. “My favorite cup filled with coffee and the perfect amount of cream. Sipping it down while I reflect on my goals and the gift of the day in front of me – reminding myself I have the strength and self-love to create my unique future (one day at a time).” – @successencourager

13. “Mornings become magical when I can get up, look outside and smell the perfume of the rain that fell overnight. When I smell that and feel the coolness in the air, I feel like I’m getting a hug from Mother Nature.” – @coachcidfirewithin

14. “A cup of coffee and some banana bread out on the deck in the early morning, surrounded by flowers and birds…just me and my Bible and journal…peaceful, centering…content and grateful!” – @suegorecki

15. “Classical music, without a doubt. Every morning, regardless of what I’m doing or where I am, I play the same playlist in the same order… somehow it’s just a comforting way to start my day” – @lexibow

16. “Sitting at my table, sipping my iced coffee and waiting patiently for my computer to load all of my sessions; I listen to the birdsong outside my window. I think of how grateful I am to see this new beautiful day that is a fresh start to any number of magical moments. Enjoying the peaceful bliss of the morning when life is just starting to stir. These moments mean everything!” – @lionessqueen65

17. “Morning pages to clear my head and heart.” – @simplelife_simplefaith

18. “Three grateful thoughts before I step out of bed.” – @normahuxter

20. “Stretching and breathing mindfully in my cozy, warm bed, then gratitude. When I get up I always start with hot water, lemon and a drop or two of essential oils. The best is bringing my puppy into the yard and listening to all the nature sounds, watching the birds fly by and bathing in the soft, shimmery morning light.” – @chara_inspire

My perfect morning is when I wake up before the sun and then do my morning Meditation, yoga, gratitude and affirmation journaling while sipping my matcha green tea/mornings latte and then working out! Bliss!!!

I have recently started to get up early, pour a cup of coffee and work on a scrapbook page for one of my books. It starts my day with creativity and gratitude as I remember the stories I am telling on that page.

I wake up to my puppy’s cry every morning around 5:30 a.m. She is my alarm clock. I get up quick, fast and in a hurry knowing she’ll pee in her kennel if I don’t. We hurry out the door and into our yard and I get to catch a glimpse of a beautiful sunrise and I get to see and hear the birds singing. We then play and bond for a while. It reminds me of how blessed I am to see another day!

My favorite morning routine is on summer Saturdays. I sit at my kitchen table sipping my “flavor of the day tea”, gazing out the window, bare feet resting on a well worn wooden floor. It takes me back to my childhood and time spent with the strong, beautiful women in my life who helped me be the Mom and woman I am.

Play with my kitten first, jump out of bed, put coffee on, and take kitty outside with my coffee and enjoy the sound of the birds and the fresh air at Kimmie’s Little Cottage in the Similkameen Valley. Oh, and also watch the hummingbirds come and go:)

My husband and I have the same unique, and sometimes childlike sense of humor. By 7 a.m., I am already doubled over with laughter. This kicks my day off with a fresh perspective on life and reminds me not to take it too seriously (which I am prone to doing).

When weather allows, taking my coffee out onto our porch, where an old, deep couch awaits. I pull the blanket, made from my race shirts stitched together, that my mom made for me, over my bare legs and watch as the day awakens. The robins, sparrows, and red winged blackbirds amp up their songs, the steam rising from my coffee meets the chill of the air, and the sun gradually overcomes the darkness as I remind myself that I go into the day with God doing the same for me.

My morning bliss is sipping on coffee while enjoying our beautiful outdoor living space, listening to the symphony sounds of nature while taking in another beautiful morning in which God has given us.

I hung the bird feeder in front of the dining room window so I can watch the birds eat while I sip my coffee and eat my breakfast.

I start with morning stretches. Not because I like to but because I want it done.
Then back into bed, sometimes to dream a little more. Other times I make myself comfy with pillows immediately and begin with my journal and then my quiet time with my Heavenly Father who centres me and gives me joy to face the day.

My morning begins by feeding the cat and having a chat with him. Then a warm cup of a favorite tea sipped by candle light or a bit of reading of a favorite magazine or book. It always ends with a song and a prayer.
