A Moment With: Bella Grace Issue 12
Summer can mean many different things.
To some, it means a time of traveling, adventure and a full schedule of fun and exploration. To others, it means relaxation – a time to recuperate and take a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Whatever summer means to you, take time to find the magic in each moment no matter what your plans are.

Bella Grace Magazine is so serene. The articles and photography take my breath away. I wish I could have every issue but I only have one so far!
My favorite thing about summer is sitting by a campfire with friends and family. The sounds of the crackling fire pit and animals in the distance, the cozy feeling of being with those you live, and the gentle warm breeze in the air make my heart feel nothing but joy. Summer is such a beautiful season! I’m so excited for some beach days too!

Sunshine and warm weather, picnics, beaches, swimming, floating, biking, hiking, camping, fishing, and hammocks are my favorite things about summer. Almost everything I love in a season happens in summer. Also, my favorite summers are southern.

Walking into the horse barn on a warm summer afternoon, finding the horses there, where there’s shade and a slight breeze blowing in; I can smell the sweet scent of hay, hear the soft knickering of the horses, vying for my attention. They know I’m always armed with carrots and a brush. Being in there with them and the earthy, animal smell of nature, never ceases to calm my spirit and fill my soul with peace. Only the horses breathing and crunching and an occasional bird’s chirp, are all I need to relax. I could spend the day there, petting, brushing and getting gentle nips & nuzzles from my favorite beasts. A perfect summer afternoon.

Favorite thing about summer is the long slow evening. The sun doesn’t want the day to end. Six o’clock, seven o’clock, eight o’clock.. The sun keeps saying “I’m still here, I’m still here, I’m still here…”

Summer, planting flowers, hanging ferns on the porch. Sitting and talking to friends on the porch. Offering icy cold lemonade, lemon bars. Candles lit at the end of the day and watching children play in the yard. The curtains blowing gently from the breeze. The smell of clothes drying outside in the sun. Holding hands and walking and talking and loving each other. The laughter of children playing hide and seek.
Daylight lasting longer so we can be outside and enjoy life and living.
