The holiday season is so packed with gatherings, events, and a never-ending to-do list that it can be hard to find a few minutes to yourself. No matter how busy your days may seem this time of year, there are always little pockets of time you can steal for yourself, even if it’s only 10 minutes here and there. Here are some ways you can enjoy that time.
Turn off all the lights, leaving just the Christmas tree lit, and sit in silence for a few minutes.
Write down five new things in your gratitude journal.

Keep the lights down low and light a few candles to delight your sight and smell senses.
Thank you so very much for your soothing and encouraging issues! I finally took the leap to subscribe to Bella Grace and Cozy. My favorite bookstore was often sold out by the time I got to town! I live in a tiny town about 40 mile from a city with a Barnes and Noble. The joy I get from each issue is epic! The stories, the pictures and the texture of each and every quality page! I was so excited the first time I drove to the Post office and discovered my issue. Thank you again!
Have a little cozy nook by your desk at home, made nicely by assembling a kettle, mug, a few tea bags and sugar cubes. Then when the fancy takes you, brew a mug to hug as you make a handwritten note of the day’s tasks on pretty notepaper.
Get a mug of tea-a truly English brand like PG Tipps is grand if you would like to add a little milk like the Brits. Have it handy with a “biscuit” (cookie) and huddle under a throw on the couch, reading a great book authored by the likes Charles Dickens, George Eliot, or Anthony Trollope! You could even serve the tea in China with a little pot for refills.
